Google IPv6 sending guidelines regarding PTR records not met Print

  • 0

If you're having problems with Google and IPv6 as they are trying to verify the identity of the IP address connecting to them, so they will attempt to look up the IPv6 address.

A quick fix:

Check the current protocols:

postconf inet_protocols

# inet_protocols = all

Edit cf File if it returns all:
grep 'inet_protocols' /etc/postfix/main.cf

# inet_protocols = ipv4

Restart the service:

service postfix restart

Check again:

postconf inet_protocols

# inet_protocols = ipv4

Congratulations, if you test your email it should now send as ipv4

sudo sendmail -v -Am -i name@gmail.com;

Regards,
